Americans United Again

Reminding Americans that we're ALL in this together

Mission Statement

Americans United Again's mission is to promote policies and standards that encourage a better society based on our constitution and our founding principle of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all.  The U.S. Constitution serves as a basis of inspiration for not just ourselves but the rest of the world as well. Our goal is to help guarantee that we as a country continuously work to live up to the spirit of our constitution and to make sure the American Dream of hard work and integrity paying off apply to all citizens and those who wish to be.

Why We Started

This movement was started to encourage growth within the American population, to unify Americans around the values we all agree upon and to ensure that minority groups have equal rights and protection. Our philosophy is based on the very American value that united we stand, divided we fall. Our government has become gridlocked by a myriad of issues and is failing to address the will of the people as it is intended to. Through cooperation on common issues and principles from otherwise opposing ideologies we can put the will of the people back in charge. Only then can we truly begin to work towards equal rights for all groups.

The Americans United Again movement is dedicated to our country living up to its values, which include the right to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness for all human beings,. It is for that reason that we proudly support the #BlackLivesMatter movement. While our country has arguably the best framework for equality & democracy we have a sordid history of not living up to those values through our treatment of non-Whites as well as those who make up other cultural minorities (the LBGTQ, community, women, disabled persons, etc). The #BlackLivesMatter movement stands firmly on the American ideals of justice & liberty being afforded to all, not just that which we accept as "normal" or "default". The movement seeks to gain justice for ALL  lives, to include all races, genders, socioeconomic levels via the elimination of the practice of White Supremacy. The practice of White Supremacy, the practice of society valuing Whites, particularly  wealthy White cis-gender, heterosexual men, is a practice older than our country itself & has harmed our own ability to proudly & accurately say that we as a nation live up to the ideals our founders. Founders who practiced White Supremacy as well but who's dreams of having a society where all could be free to be themselves provided their actions didn't impede on another's freedoms, are invaluable. It is with that we proudly say in solidarity that #BlackLivesMatter.
